This second issue covers the period between the proclamation of independence of Slovenia and Croatia (26 June 1991) until the beginning of the Bosnian war (30 April 1992). Od rata do rata, from war to war. The war and how it was changing their lifes, their perceptions of Yugoslavia and the world, is the central topic of the discussions.
Slovenians abandoned Sezam early after the Brioni Agreement (July 1991). Croats were active for two additional months. For a certain time, until January 1992, some Belgrade “sezamovci” took part in political discussionsin Croatian BBS (particularly, in MIPS), and posted to Sezam some of the messages. After January 1992, even this indirect linkage disappears.
The general mood was desperate, one of anger and confusion.
