The Embassy of Greece in Sarajevo announces one (1) position vacancy at the Office of Economic & Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Sarajevo.
The employee will actively participate in all required activities of the Office of Economic & Commercial Affairs.
- Applicants must be either BiH citizens or permanent residents in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Applicants must be over 23 years of age. Greek citizens must have fulfilled their military obligations or provide certificate of exemption.
Job description
- Monitor and analyse the general economic situation and economic developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Monitor and study the trends and developments of bilateral trade.
- Do market researches on various sectors of the local market.
- Help Greek entrepreneurs do business in BiH and resolve commercial issues that may occur.
- Participate in the actions of the Office that contribute to the attraction of BiH investments to Greece.
- Provide assistance to BiH entrepreneurs that plan to develop their business in Greece.
- Participate in the activities of the Office that aim at the promotion of the bilateral economic relations between Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent command of one of the languages in official use in BiH and of English. Knowledge of the Greek language will be considered an additional asset.
- University degree preferably in economics.
- Very good knowledge of computer use, especially the ability to search and sort information via the Internet, as well as proficient use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs of Microsoft Office.
- Prior relevant experience will be considered a strong asset.
