Job Description
Main Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Financial Administrator is to oversee financial transactions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and manage budgeting and reporting within the project Reception Center for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Minors and Vulnerable Separated Children in Sarajevo.
This role includes maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring transparency and accountability in financial operations. The Financial Administrator will work closely with project coordinators and the Country Manager to ensure efficient financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing financial transactions, including payments
- Conducting complex procurement processes (procurement/tender)
- Preparing and monitoring budgets in collaboration with project teams
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and donor requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Preparing regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in audits and financial reviews
- Collaborating with JRS staff and other professionals to optimize financial operations
- Providing financial guidance and support to project teams
- Reporting to the Reception Center Manager and subsequently to the Country Manager
