BOOST is all about empowering the Western Balkans countries as they move towards becoming part of the EU. We're here to support the region’s growth in democratic, economic, social, and cultural areas.
How do we do it? Through our exciting sub-granting scheme! We’re running two rounds of grants to help civil society organizations (CSOs) across six Western Balkan countries. Whether you're working on regional projects or local initiatives, BOOST is here to provide the support you need to make a big impact!
Duration of the Call:
Two months (Closing on 27th December 2024)
Who Can Apply:
- ● Must be a legal entity
- ● Must be non-profit
- ● Must be a civil society organization (CSO) working on one or more thematic pillars relevant to this Call for Applications (excluding political, faith-based, and religious organizations)
- ● Must be registered in one of the six targeted WB countries
- Note: National branches of international organizations registered in the 6 WB countries may participate only as co-applicants.
Priority Focus:
Preference will be given to youth- and women-led CSOs.
Partnership Requirements:
Each consortium must consist of at least three civil society organizations (CSOs), with each one coming from a different Western Balkan country.

Grant Amount:
- ● Total grant amount: €75,000
- ● Maximum BOOST contribution: €60,000 per project (80% of the total grant)
- ● Co-financing: Minimum 20% of the total grant (€15,000) to be provided by the applicants
